Pebbly is an app for painting rocks. It is built so that what you paint stays yours: on your device, and — if you keep the backup on — in your own iCloud. This policy explains what that means in practice.
Pebbly does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on our servers or any third-party server. There are no accounts and no sign-ups, and Pebbly has no servers of its own.
Your painted rocks — the pictures, their names, and the stickers on them — and your settings are stored on your device. We have no access to them.
So that your rocks survive the app being deleted or a move to a new device, Pebbly keeps a copy of them in your own iCloud Drive, in a folder named Pebbly. That copy lives in your private iCloud account, between you and Apple, the same way your files in iCloud Drive do; we cannot see or reach it. The backup is on unless you turn it off in Pebbly's settings. Turning it off stops new copies being made; it does not delete what is already in iCloud.
Pebbly asks for permission to add to your photo library only when you choose to save a picture of a rock. That permission lets Pebbly add pictures; it does not let Pebbly see your existing photos.
When you share a rock, the picture goes only where you choose in the iOS share sheet. Pebbly does not send it anywhere else.
Pebbly offers one optional in-app purchase. It is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details or your Apple ID.
Pebbly does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Pebbly keeps a small diagnostic log on your device to help understand crashes; the app never sends it anywhere. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device's settings, Apple may pass us anonymous crash reports. You can turn this off in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
Pebbly is made for children to use with their families. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect personal information at all. There are no ads, no accounts, and no chat.
