Duewell is designed to keep your data on your device by default. This policy explains what that means in practice, and what changes if you turn on the optional iCloud Sync feature.
Duewell does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on our servers or any third-party server. There are no accounts and no sign-ups. If you turn on the optional iCloud Sync feature, your items sync through your own private iCloud account so we — and no one else — can access that data; it's between you and Apple's iCloud, the same way Notes or Reminders sync.
Everything you enter into Duewell — items, reminders, categories, notes, and settings — is stored locally on your device by default. We have no access to it. If iCloud Sync is enabled, that same data is also stored in your own private iCloud account, still inaccessible to us.
Duewell does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Duewell uses Apple's local notification system to remind you about upcoming expirations. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and never sent through an external server.
Deleting the app removes all of its locally stored data from your device. If you had iCloud Sync turned on, your data also remains in your private iCloud account until you delete it there (for example, via iCloud settings) — Duewell can't delete it on our end since we never had access to it.
Duewell does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data at all — everything stays either on-device or in your own private iCloud account.
